Our Mission:- Arain Welfare Trust International will act as home base contact and facilitator for a large number of Arain families scattered all over the world especially in UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Middle East. When they come to Pakistan, it should be “home coming” and recontact with motherland. Their love for Pakistan and their desire to serve Pakistan should be treasured and reciprocated. Similarly Arains living in Pakistan and desiring to expand their business abroad, face problem regarding contact, logistics and local partner in the country where business have to be established. Through Arain Welfare Trust International a high level collaboration between Arains in Pakistan and those living abroad can offer wonderful solutions to problem currently being faced by either section of the single largest tribe of Pakistan. Activities

To achieve above objectives, the Board of Trustees in its meeting held on August 31, 2008, recognized the following short and long term activities.

Establishment of Trust Secretariat

Selection of site is in progress. It is proposed that Secretariat should be centrally located over an area of not less than 8 kanals. The building shall rightly reflect the aspiration of Arain Community in Pakistan and abroad.

Marriage Bureau

The Trust Bureau of Marriages will facilitate marriages through coordination amongst the community in Pakistan and Arains families living abroad. This will offer a practical solution to a pressing problem being faced by Arain families especially those living abroad.

Education

Education office of the Trust will facilitate admissions and monitoring of the children returning from abroad. For students residing in Pakistan scholarships will be offered to all deserving cases for their education in Pakistan or abroad.

Counselling Service

This wing of the Trust will provide advisory services for investors and businessmen join ventures and those who face any immigration problems. This service shall be provided to all who seek advice and their cases would be referred to other section after screening.

Financial Rehabilitation of Pover5ty Alleviation

Financial help shall be extended to widows, orphans and other needy members of Arain community as a matter of high priority. Main thrust shall be to help the vulnerable persons/communities to stand on their own feet. Distribution of Sadqat and Zakat can also be processed. Interest free loans shall be made available to those who wish to complete their projects in business, education, housing or health sectors. This activity addresses poverty alleviation of the community especially in remote and rural areas.

Health Service

Health wing of Trust will arrange medical facilities for needy community members and provides them guidance to visit certain specialties and centres of excellence. This will include establishment of health centre and strengthening some already existing hospitals.

Tourism and Protocol Officer

Special attention shall be extended to families and children from abroad to who come to visit Pakistan to discover their routes. Their tour to Pakistan shall be appropriately tailored as per needs. Delegations going abroad shall also be facilitated financially, socially and organizationally, “visit to Pakistan” shall be made a regular annual feature in the trust activities. Any visa problem shall be streamlined.

Three types of Accounts shall be opened.

Foreign Currency Account

These joint accounts shall be kept under the signature of Chairman of the Trust, the General Secretary and the Financial Secretary of the trust and with rowels shall be allowed by any two of the signatories. Number of these accounts shall be published in Newsletter as soon as the accounts are opened.

Newsletters

To keep the members of Arain community well informed about the activities and achievements of the trust, a Newsletter shall be issued under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shafique Jullandhry. The newsletter shall be emailed/mailed to all registered members free of cost.

Membership & Registration

Membership Application Forms are available with Chief Organizer’s Office for applying for the membership of Arain Welfare Trust International. There is a normal membership fee of Rs. 5,000/- per annum. However, there is no limit to donations by members from home or abroad. The Trust guarantees transparency and integrity in processing and maintenance soonest. (You can download Membership and Marriage Form from our website).

Area and Country Representatives

The Trust shall short appoint Representatives for various areas within Pakistan and Country Representatives for other countries. These Representatives will conduct and coordinate the activities generated by the Trust in their respective areas of responsibility. Name and full contact address and telephones of Area/Country Representatives shall be published in the Newsletter as soon as their appointment in finalized.
